Carmine J. Oliva Jewelers

Boston Community Change

The Boston Community Change site was an interesting experience. During the development process, I worked closely with Alex Tokar of Web Collective. I provided Alex with valid XHTML/CSS via Base Camp, an online project management/communication tool. The BCC site is powered by Plone, an open source CMS. Working with a limited budget was certainly a challenge. Overall, the new Boston Community Change web site is a vast improvement. Launch site here.
Whippoorwill Crafts

Karen Hohler approached the Office of Business develop shortly after a small business workshop hosted by the Boston Redevelopment Authority at City Hall. I designed a Flash site which links to her current e-commerce site. Store hours, copy, and photo galleries are XML driven for easy updates. Unfortunately, Karen was forced to close shop; however, continues to maintain whipporwillcrafts.com. Launch archived site here.
Truth is Plastic

Truth is Plastic was an experiment by Earl Macatangay – photographer. This site was work in progress until Earl moved from Boston to Brooklyn, then Mumbai, then Brooklyn again, and now…I’m not sure where Earl is. Launch site here.
Personal Injury Attorney Rocky Grossack

Rocky Grossack is a personal injury attorney located in the downtown Boston area. I worked with John Bita, colleague of Mr. Grossack. I was given a few paragraphs of copy (English and Spanish translation), contact info, a photo (Rocky in a t-shirt – later, Rocky in a suit), and that’s it. This project was completed in 2 days.
