Thanks for the video link Erik. Nic showed me this about a year ago. Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with the current generation of skaters; but, I think anyone might be able to enjoy this clip from ‘Fully Flared’ (directed by Spike Jonze and Ty Evans). Reminds me of the days I used to skate.
The explosions are fake. The amount of force required to fracture concrete and melt steel would send pieces into there skin. Not to mention the pressure wave would cause some serious internal injuries and blown ear drums to say the least. Man….don’t you watch Discovery Channel.

Hahaha – yes, I do watch Discovery. But, it does look real, right? Skate videos/movies are usually low budget…at least they were when I used to skate. The special effects are decent – look real enough for me to question. Anyway, good comment. The best so far. Thanks man.
